This is our first attempt at recording a sermon so please excuse any audio peculiarities. We expect future recordings to improve as we learn more about the equipment and recording conditions in the sanctuary.

Monday, 7:30pm: Monday Night Book Study led by Ellen Kohn-Perry, Intern. The current book is Where Angels Walk: True Stories of Heavenly Visitors, by Joan Wester Anderson.

Tuesday, 7:30am: Morning Prayer

Wednesday, 6:30-8 p.m: Zendo Meditation.

Thursday, 7:30am: Morning Prayer
8:10 a.m.: Breakfast and Bible Study at Heavenly Temptations.

Believers, skeptics, divorced, coupled, straight, gay, those who have lost their faith and those who are trying to find it. Whoever you are and wherever you are in your walk with God, St. John’s is happy to welcome you to our community.

Sunday Worship: Summer Schedule

9 a.m. Service from June 6th to September 5th
St. John’s will celebrate one 9am service on Sundays during the summer.

Sunday Worship: Spring and Fall Schedule

8 a.m. Traditional Service

This Rite 1 service offers an opportunity to worship using the beautiful prayers many life long Episcopalians grew up with. It is also a shorter service and attractive to those who like to start their day early.

10 a.m. Contemporary Choral Eucharist

This service is based on the Rite II Eucharist in the Book of Common prayer but regularly includes other sources to connect the immediacy of Scripture and the church’s mission with our every day experience. If you experience God especially through music, this is also the service for you. St. John’s has a beautiful hundred and fifty year old pipe organ, an amazing Choir Master and a wonderful choir.

Communion

All who are spiritually hungry are welcomed to the Lord’s table at St. John’s. Children too! Both wine and grape juice are offered during communion. If your child is too young to receive communion Rev. Laurie will offer a blessing. Adults who do not wish to participate in communion are also invited to the communion rail for a blessing.
